Terms of service
Effective October 7, 2026
These terms apply to the Tabby browser extension and Tabby Pro ("Tabby", "we", "us"), made by Nguyen Huu Tai, an individual developer based in Vietnam. By installing Tabby or buying Tabby Pro you agree to them.
1. Who sells Tabby Pro
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms also apply to your purchase.
2. Tabby Free
Tabby's core features are free with no limit on saved tabs: saving, collections, spaces for organizing, search, backups, Tidy up, session restore and favorites. Switching spaces (each space keeping its own open tabs) is free for up to 5 spaces.
3. Tabby Pro
- What you get: unlimited switchable spaces, Tidy up straight into collections, and the Pro features we add later, as described on the pricing section.
- Plans: a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time "founding member" purchase when offered. Prices are shown before you pay and may include sales tax or VAT, calculated by Paddle.
- Free trial: new users can try Pro for 14 days without a card. When the trial ends, Tabby returns to the free plan; nothing is deleted.
- Renewal and cancellation: subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the link in your Paddle receipt; Pro stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Founding member: a one-time payment for Pro for the lifetime of the product, including Pro features added later, offered to the first 100 buyers at launch.
- Refunds: see our refund policy.
4. Your data
Tabby stores your tabs, links and settings on your device. We don't have access to them. Checking whether you have Pro uses a random install ID and your purchase record from Paddle; see the privacy policy.
5. License
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Tabby. Don't resell it, tamper with the license check, or use it to break the law or other websites' terms.
6. Changes and availability
We work to keep Tabby reliable but provide it "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for Tabby Pro in the 12 months before a claim. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live. We may update these terms; if a change materially affects paying users, we'll say so in the extension and on this page before it applies.
